About TasteKFood | Korean Food Reviews for Amazon Shoppers

Why I Started This Site

Hi, I’m the person behind TasteKFood, a site built around honest Korean food reviews for Amazon shoppers in the U.S. I’m Korean, and I’ve watched with excitement as Korean food has slowly but surely made its way onto shelves and screens around the world — from viral fire noodle challenges to K-drama dinner scenes that make people search “what is that red sauce?” the next morning.

I started this site because I want Korean food to become a truly global favorite — not just a trend that fades, but a cuisine people turn to again and again, the way they do with Italian or Japanese food today. There’s so much more to explore beyond the handful of products that go viral: regional sauces, everyday snacks, comfort foods that Koreans grew up eating, and newer products constantly hitting the market.

What Our Korean Food Reviews Cover

TasteKFood focuses on Korean food available on Amazon in the U.S., so you don’t have to guess whether a product is worth trying. Every review includes:

  • Honest tasting notes on flavor, spice level, and texture
  • Practical comparisons between similar products
  • Simple cooking tips for getting the most out of each item
  • Direct links so you can find and buy what you’re curious about

My Approach

I review products the same way I’d want a friend to recommend them to me — honestly, in detail, and without hype. If a product isn’t great, I’ll say so, even if it means a lower rating for a well-known brand. My goal is for TasteKFood to become a resource you can trust, not just another list of five-star reviews.

I’m not affiliated with any Korean food brand or manufacturer, and I pay for the products I review out of my own pocket. When a review includes an Amazon affiliate link, I disclose it clearly (see our [Affiliate Disclosure] page).

Let’s Connect

If there’s a Korean product you’d love to see reviewed, or a question about something you spotted on Amazon, reach out through our [Contact] page — I’d genuinely love to hear from you.
